Sunny Days

Ahhhhh the days have been beautiful here lately, the sun is shining and the air is nice... GREAT days for riding a wild mustang!!! Here are some more pics of her trotting her little precious heart out... She's such a great girl. Once you teach her something she's NAILED it. Like neck reining and turning on the hind quarters. WOW. So S&D and I went to the fair on Sat. and they have a bungee ride that shoots you way up there and I said NO WAY I wouldn't go on that and S&D replied "Yet you'll break a wild horse??" LMAO Yeah guess so...

  1. Congratulations on the speedy training- it's amazing to me how you experienced horse trainers can get them to work for you so quickly... so, when is the challenge, anyway? Isn't there a big exhibition or something? How can we wacth?

  2. I have a question...how about her feet? Will she let you clean them? She looks wonderful!

  3. Congratulations on your progress with Acacia, looks like you two are heading in a good direction.

*I do have one suggestion for you though, please wear a certified helmet on your head, especially when starting young horses! You never know when they are going to do something unexpected.

Sure would hate it if your were injured and couldn't finish the training on her, or worse, you weren't around to buy her when the Mustang Make Over has ended ;)

  4. I'll echo what Golden Girl has mentioned regarding wearing a helmet. As a 50'ish-ridden many, fallen off a few- bossy mom of a rider, I care for your safety, Trainer X. An aquaintance of mine had an awful riding accident recently on a green horse.
